To live in alignment with your essential self, you must live in accordance with how life force energy manifests itself through your body and mind. It is to live in alignment with your instincts. It is being the person you are at the very depths of your core. Being your essential self means being in integrity. Integrity stems from the root word integer, which means being whole and undivided. Integrity means aligning the The Four Meaning-Making Systems in our body. When we are being in integrity we are listening to these four meaning-making systems. When we are being our essential self, we are embodying integrity. The reason being your essential self is so important is because it aligns you with your life purpose and with meaning itself. Even if right now you don't feel a connection with your essential self, the good news is: your essential self has never left you. And, it always leaves clues behind in the form of what brings you meaning, peace, love, joy, and freedom. The Social SelfWhat keeps us from embodying integrity? The answer: culture. Being out of integrity happens when decade-long, sometimes millenial, patterns kick in and subconsciously say one of these, or all of these:
